Introducing Myself

I am sure I have done this before, but I really cannot recall introducing myself on here and I am way too lazy to go back through my old posts to see if I have.
And what better way to introduce yourself than through gifs.

Obviously if you look to the right this is not me.
But my name is Rachel and Haters are gonna Hate.

I love my morning iced grande mocha.
I used to get them from Starbucks everyday until my lovely sister got me my own espresso maker and now I fully believe mine are better than Starbucks.

I am a shorty. I'm 5'2. My Fiance is 6'2.
Life is good from down here.

I am a counseling psychology graduate student.
I'm in year 2 of 4.
And yes this is how I feel a lot of the time.
The tiredness never goes away and if it disappears it is never for long.

I am so paranoid. I think this thought in regards to everything.
I lock my car door as soon as I get in it and check behind my seat to see if someone is hiding back there. I hate going into the basement because I believe that's where the bodies are buried.

I am not a morning person at all.
Even with waking up most days before 6 for my job, I still do not like mornings.
And I do not think I ever will.

I may seem bossy, but I am really just a leader.
Rachel-ism's are more valid than logic.
Trust me.

This is me everyday of my life.
I am the girl having a conversation by herself in the car.
I constantly have conversations in my head and act out how I think the situation I am in may go. And I sometimes may find myself angry at you for something you did not do, but believe you have done because of my made up conversation. My bad.

More like I want Chik-Fil-A everyday but they do not have it in Washington.
*UPDATE-I just drove past a Chick-fil-a in Bellevue that is being built. My fiance got a little freaked over the noise that came out of my mouth when I spotted it!*
I truly believe the Dr. Peppers taste better from this business.

And of course I could go on and on, but that's a waste of your time.
If you want to know anything else please feel free to ask!

20Stamps

Being in the wedding search mode, I have come across some amazing things.
One of these amazing things is this app I discovered called 20Stamps.
You download it on to your phone and can create your own custom stamps.
I have been seeking ways to customize the little things for my wedding and this is such a simple way to do it. I also love when I receive letters from people with personal stamps. It's that extra special step that allows you to be more personal despite being away from people.

This app is so simple.
You literally download it and allow it to access your photos.
From there you select one:
It then allows you to choose a filter just like Instagram.

From there you select the postage rate you need.

Then you check out the final design before purchasing.

Not only do they do stamps, but they also do greeting cards.
I absolutely love personalized greeting cards.

The whole process took me 2 minutes top. It's simple and quick.
While I did not purchase my stamps yet as I would like to wait until Engagement Pictures, I will definitely be using this once I start to send out my invites.

I am not a super tech savvy person and I absolutely love apps that simplify things.
If you are looking to add a little flair to your snail mail, I strongly suggest downloading 20Stamps.

What I'm Looking Forward To

Sometimes you just need to be excited for things that are still to come.

1. In a few weeks, I finally get to cross something off my bucket list.
Attend a Blogger Meet-Up.
Thanks to some lovely ladies in the Washington area we are having a meet-up.
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little nervous for it, but I'm also excited.
Meeting new people can be scary and especially people who blog more consistently and have larger followers. Either way I am excited to have a fun night with people who share an interest like mine.

2. A break from school. I have about 5 more weeks of school left.
That may seem like a lot for some, but it's really not.
I am excited to have two weeks off at the end of the term to relax and slow down for a bit.

3. I'm almost done with counseling.
My school program requires us to attend 40 hours of counseling.
At about my 20th hour, I felt like I had no need for counseling anymore.
Since then, each week has been a countdown to the end.
I love counseling, but I also would love a break from it.

It's just a few things, but they are pushing me through!
What are you looking forward to?

England 2015

I've almost been back for a month and have not blogged about our England Trip.
I know, it's shameful. I get it, but at least I am finally sharing about it.

Most people ask us why we went.
2 Reasons:
1. To Relax and Vacation
2. To visit my grandma and the rest of my family.
My mother is from England and that is where her family resides.
I had not been back since I was 8 years old, that's 16 years since my last visit.
Also very shameful.

I would love to describe everything we did, but I think that's unfair to those of you who have never been. Everyone experiences England differently and I think your own personal experience is best to be experienced without others thoughts about how you should do it.
I will say that the Tower of London is worth it and that you should plan to be there for at least 2 hours more like 4. Also buying the hop on hop off bus ticket is worth it.

So here is our trip in pictures!

This is called a hot rock and it is my most favorite meal ever.
Comes in lamb, steak, chicken, cheese, and more.
I had it twice it was that good and everyone should be able to have steak twice while on vacation.

My handsome fiance loving all the trains.

I'm obsessed with these hats. I just may require them at my wedding.

Peterborough Cathedral

The Tower of London

They kings used to give each other animals as gifts. Crazy!

This dragon is made of all weapons and armory.

That blue gun at the top has diamonds on it.

Some kings were actually this short. I was taller than some kings.

London Victoria's Secret. 4 Stories and had all the fashion show line.
I was in love!

 Marble Arches

 Buckingham Palace

This was my face most of the time since we didn't know where we were going.

St. James Park

 Parliament

Trafalgar Square

Delicious Fish n' Chips!

I think this might be part of Westminster Abbey, but I cannot remember

I did this often on the train.

Aunty Greta's Street

Brad's favorite. A 3 Wheeled Car

This is my happy face!

 My grandmother and I

Brad loved the trains

 We found the Starbucks!

 Taxi Cabs!

Brad and I's inside joke found while shopping

This was our first day in England after traveling 11 hours. I was exhausted.

Our home for our trip. My grandmothers house!
