During our Sophomore year, my friends and I decided to accomplish 101 things the book 101 Things You Should Do Before You Graduate by David Bordon and Tom Winters suggest.
Here is the status of the list so far and some stories to share along the way:
1.) Make exercise a habit
2.) Laugh a lot!
3.) Tell a teacher, "Thanks-you made me think!"
4.) Slow dance with someone special under the stars.
5.) Quit skulking and start talking.
6.) Welcome mornings!
7.) Hand over the soda! 8 months of hard work!
8.) Nibble on something new! Thai food!
9.) Save your breath
10.) Take a hot-air balloon ride- These suckers are over a 100 dollars, don't think this is going to happen.
11.) Two-words" Flashlight tag
12.) Tutor Someone
13.) Go cosmic bowling.
14.) Make a friend outside of school. Can anyone say Washington?
15.) Eat ice cream for breakfast.
16.) Try another hair color-for a day. Yeah I tried multiple: red, dark brown, attempted blonde...
17.) Look in the mirror and say "Hello, masterpiece!"
18.) Fill some one's room with balloons.
19.) Write a mission statement for your life: My mission is to cherish and build relationships
that show love through actions and words by providing transformational
opportunities and experiences.
20.) Plant a flower for those who come later
21.) Plan a monthly friend outing: seriously, I have never had trouble with this!
22.) Wear your pajamas all day long!
23.) Give it up the home team: Love AU softball!
24.) Pictures, pictures, pictures!
25.) Conduct a clothing inventory: Can you say every month?
26.) Eat something besides chips.
27.) Go on a blind date with no expectations: This was so much fun. 18 blind dates filled with dinner and bowling. Couldn't have asked for a more fun time and I go to go out with the guy who I thought was so cute freshman year!
28.) Take command of the stage-even if it's just to move scenery: Encore baby! Come back in two weeks to hear more about this event!
29.) Treat yourself to a graduation vacation: England baby!
30.) Take Advantage of extra credit: You know it!
31.) Make self-defense your first defense: I say one class counts!
32.) Shun Procrastination: I am usually great at this year, but I will be honest that Senior year has been the hardest to do this.
33.) Travel Light: Getting better and better each time I go somewhere
34.) Get serious about prayer
35.) Embrace diversity
36.) Read your bible cover to cover
37.) Find out where the jobs are
38.) Develop your gifts and talents: can anyone say guitar?
39.) Subscribe to a professional magazine
40.) Walk to class a different way...and see what you have been missing.

43.) Share your faith
44.) Embrace self-rule
45.) Try every flavor of jelly beans-and share!
46.) Prepare to celebrate

51.) Journal your way through Senior Year: this journal we are talking about is what I call my blog.
52.) Identify and target three potential employers: this is kind of on the back burner for now.

59.) Try your hand at school politics: two weeks of senator, that's as long as I could make it

Most of the list is done, but there are a few more to achieve before May 10th.
